About

Jeez, where do I start. I’m a mid-30’s deaf-blind, gay trans-masculine person who enjoys the oddities of life and waves a camera around in a semi-effectual manner before blathering about it on the internet.

I grew up hard of hearing, mainstreamed and forced into oral communication by my super deaf phobic family. After I left home it was so ingrained in me to not talk about disability related things I never really came out and told anyone about my hearing issues until I lost the last of my usable hearing in mid 2015 (nearly 30 years of silence).

Let’s see….what else? I’m totally blind on my left side with reasonably good vision on the right. I use a mobility and/or guide cane in daily living to navigate my world.

I’m a huge loudmouth, and a rabid activist for many different causes. Despite having only one working eye and no ears I play a really insane sport called bike polo (you should totally look it up) and am a cycling nut. I’m also a martial artist.

Oh and yeah, I’m a drag queen that goes by the name Leada Stray. One of, if not the first the first FTM trans men in Canada to have been so. And I still perform to this day. Even stone deaf you can’t keep a good queen down.
